For BO Infra, we provided a combined delivery of both plastic and steel road plates.
The order consisted of:
20 plastic road plates in rack
10 steel road plates
At first glance, this may seem like a standard delivery. In practice, the added value lies in the choices behind this combination.
On many projects, a single type of road plate is still used for all situations. While this may seem efficient, it often leads to unnecessary wear, less optimal load distribution, or higher costs than necessary.
In this case, a deliberate choice was made to combine materials, tailored to the application:
Steel road plates for areas with high loads and intensive heavy traffic
Plastic road plates for lighter applications and ground protection
In addition, recognizability and ownership marking played an important role:
The steel road plates are marked with a logo, providing a permanent and wear-resistant identification.
For the plastic road plates, the logo is milled into the surface, creating a clean and durable marking without affecting functionality.
Choosing the right type of road plate is not a standard decision, but a strategic consideration for each application.
By combining materials smartly:
you extend the lifespan of your equipment
you optimize safety and stability on site
you avoid unnecessary costs due to over-specification
It is precisely these choices that make the difference between a supplier and a partner who thinks along with you in practice.
And that’s how you stay in control with ATS road plates!
